Web-surfer's stew

From:bkinsman@coastside.net

Richard -- visited your page and visited you Emergency Cookery section. I have an addition for you, unless of course you think that it might raise the standards of the section. :>) It is really quite good. I call it websurfer's stew.

Get a couple of pounds of stew meat and throw it in a 4-6 quart pot. (If the meat is already frozen, either defrost it or forget about it a make a mustard sandwich). Add salt and pepper to taste. Same with oregano, rosemary and garlic. Add one can of either cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup, or beef broth. Add one/half can of water. Add a can of peas (also fresh carrots if you want) and a large potato (quartered). Place the covered pot in a 275 degree oven for five hours and go surf the net.
